Our create task this week was to fill out a table about the characters and synthesise what we think they are like.

Bruno meets Shmuel

Talofa lava! Welcome back to my blog. This week we are continuing on with novel study. Our goal this week was: Identify at least one important idea and justify why it is important. The main idea i chose to focus on was when Bruno meets Shmuel. In my create task i had to include these things: 1. The main idea 2. Your understanding of why the main idea is important 3. What does it make you think about?4. Why do you think the author has focused on this idea?

Speech assessment

Kia Ora everyone and welcome back to my blog. Last week for writing we were writing and reading our speeches. This week for writing we were writing a self assessment about our speech. The self assessment form is about how well we think we did in our speech and what things we could work on and do next time.  My speech was about Zero Hunger!

Here is my assessment:

cantamath!

Talofa lava everyone and welcome back to my blog. This week for maths i did cantamath again.  This week in cantamath it was a bit different from last week. This week we were doing individual  cantamath where we had to solve all the questions our selves.

Here is a bit about what we do and how it is:

How it is:

For the last couple of weeks I have been doing cantamath. Cantamath is where you get given challenging math questions and you are racing a bunch of different teams to get all the maths questions right the fastest.

When we first started doing cantamath, I wasn't that interested in it. But after doing it for a while it's not too bad.

This week we tried out individual teams and I think I didn't do too bad. Overall I am enjoying cantamath and I don't think i'm doing too bad seeing this is my first ever year doing it.

Thank you for looking at my blog. Would you ever try cantamath?
