Kia Ora everyone and welcome back to my blog. This week in writing, my goal was:
Use "show not tell" when appropriate. This means that in your writing, instead of saying a sentence like: The man is sad, you change it to a sentence that means he's sad without actually saying it. For instance, you could change the sentence to:The poor man from across the road was feeling sorrowful. In this sentence you know how the man is feeling without it actually saying he's sad. This sentence is more descriptive too. My create task was to use a probble picture prompt and write a paragraph about it using show not tell sentences. Here is mine:
