Shapes

Kia ora everyone and welcome back to my blog. This week in maths I had to do different tasks relating to shapes. My  maths goals this week were: Level 3 - Identify and describe 2D and 3D shapes using mathematical language. Level 4 - Identify and sort 2D and 3D shapes into classes. Define the properties of the shapes and justify the decisions made. Level 3 - Represent objects with drawings and models. This week I had different create tasks. The spies that bind

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog. This week in reading my goal was: 

 Identify some text events and features, and discuss what they make the reader think about. Identify at least one important idea and justify why it is important. Identify several ideas, discuss the author's stance or purpose, and understand relationships in the text. My create task was to make a dlo of the main ideas in the story, why it's important, what it makes the reader think about, and the author's purpose. Discovering something that doesn't exist

This week in writing we were writing a narrative. We were learning how to plan a good narrative.  I chose to write my story about a turtle. My turtle went on a journey. We had to watch some videos to get an understanding on how to write a good narrative. here is a little bit of my writing!

Hi, this week in reading we had a "Kaupeka Reading challenge." We had to read 3 books and do 3 different tasks for each book we read.
